Bible Distribution

Only a few people on Sri Lanka have their own Bible. To purchase one is too expensive for them. For a lot of people the price of a Bible is 40 % of their monthly income. That is an income which is needed to stay alive.

Over 1,500 Bibles and 5,000 Children's Bibles of H. van Dam have already been distributed. These bibles are distributed to:

· All families which come to the churches in Batticaloa and Periyaneelavanai

· All children of the different orphan homes

· All boys and girls of the Vocational Training Center

· To other churches in Sri Lanka

 

Many people on Sri Lanka do not have a Bible
